GLB3500M-4 Terr TV and One Quattro LNB over fiber
Product Description
GLB3500E-4R satellite TV FTTH Optical LNB is a two-core fiber input optic receiver, converting four wideband RFs from two satellites (e.g., Nilesat and Arabsat) over fiber signals into one RF output for up to 4 satellite receivers in one home. Working with 2pcs Greatway GLB3500E-2T satellite TV optical transmitters from two fiber inputs, GLB3500E-4R has built-in SatCR module switching the wideband RF from two satellites, outputs 4 satellite user bands at one SatCR RF port for 4 unicable satellite receivers.
SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna TV) is popular to offer satellite TV and terrestrial TV to subscribers living in the apartments or community. Traditional SMATV can distribute the master antenna contents via multiswitch to satellite receivers over coaxial cable. Due to higher loss at higher satellite frequency, SMATV cable distance is less than 150 meter even with IF online amplifier. Typical two satellites SMATV system needs 9 RF cables from the building roof to the cascading multiswitchs, serving less than 100 subscribers in one building. For two satellites SMATV over fiber, Greatway Technology has GLB3500M-8 as FTTB solution and GLB3500E-4R as FTTH solution. The FTTB solution should have regular satellite STB, while the FTTH solution must have the satellite STB supporting unicable.
GLB3500E-4R has 1310nm/1490nm/1550nm WDM option port for co-working with GPON ONU in any FTTH application, which enables full satellite LNB contents be inserted in the GPON system.
