GTR5GW7 5G/WiFi7 RF-PON Optical Antenna Terminal
GTR5GW7 is an optical antenna terminal (OAT) converting 5G NR RRU 2T2R RF or WiFi7 wireless signals over FTTH system. GTR5GW7 integrates 5G baseband processing, RF modulation processing, protocol processing, and RF over fiber transmission. It achieves complete 5G NR wireless over fiber other than 5G over the air in the building access network. Compared to more than 100W power at 5G air station, 5G over fiber just needs 100mW RF power before fiber and 100mW 5G RF power after fiber at each home, distributing 5G signals more efficiently in the downtown building area. Besides 5G RRU FDD signal, GTR5GW7 can send WiFi7 2.4GHz/5.8GHz/6GHz TDD signals (5G Advanced, 5G-A) in the same FTTH network, offering 5G cell phone roaming and high-speed internet.
