GWE1000 CATV MDU indoor amplifier
Product Description
GWE1000 is a cost-effective multiple dwelling amplifier designed for two-day forward path CATV and Docsis 3.1 or Docsis 3.0 or Docsis 2.0 cable modem applications. Besides broadcasting high quality analog TV or DVB-C TV, GWE1000 meets the needs of today’s expanding broadband communication networks based on CMTS and cable modem technology. The forward path RF has 37dB gain supporting up to 48dBmV RF output while the return path has 27dB gain supporting up to 44dBmV return path RF level. Designed for HFC network installation in apartment buildings, this high-gain compact indoor distribution amplifier is available with a bandwidth of up to 1003MHz (1218MHz optional) for improved system performance. Besides the basic 42/54MHz frequency split, GWE1000 can offer 85/102MHz or 204/258MHz frequency split for the advanced broadband demands.
The single output amplifier features continuous adjustable attenuator and continuous adjustable equalizer on both forward path and return path RF path for greater flexibility when setting the amplifier. The unit includes standard F-type input and output connector ports, -20dB forward path and -20dB return path test ports. To meet the diversify application in mulit-dwelling applications, all RF ports of GWE1000 are designed to have 6KV surge protection.
GWE1000 consumes less than 14W power. All amplifier modules are mounted on one aluminum heat sink. GWE1000 has sheet metal housing cover with functional silk print.
The MDU features auto-ranging switching power supply, which can accept input voltages from 90 to 240V at frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz without adjustment.
Other Features:
• Duplexer for different bandwidth split.
• 90~240V AC power input.
• -20dB test points at forward and return path.
