GWR1200 CATV Optical Node
Product Description
GWR1200 Optical Node has outdoor die-cast aluminum housing outputting forward path analog TV, DVB-C and CMTS DS signals and sending upstream cable modem signals at regular or burst mode over the single Bi-directional fiber or the 2nd fiber. They are ideal for advanced fiber to the premises (FTTP) and fiber to the building (FTTB) applications at CATV and internet networks. GWR1200 node provides a high RF output up to 1.2 GHz (1218MHz) which will reduce or eliminate the need for post-node amplifier in the network.
GWR1200 node is ideal for high density applications: MDU, universities, hospitals and business parks. GWR1200 boasts a 50dBmV output which handles any size establishment. Return path transmitter can be 1310nm or 1550nm depending on the system requirements. Optional WDM technology allows two-way operations on a single fiber. CWDM transmitters are offered to combine multiple two-way nodes on one fiber.
As an outdoor optical node, GWR1200 has designed 4KV surge protection at all RF ports.
GWR1200 return path transmitter can be set at burst mode to reduce the return path noise. The device uses a single fiber and receives downstream signals at 1550nm and return transmitters can be ordered as either 1310nm or 1610nm or CWDM wavelengthes depending on the system requirements. As an RFOG device it is compatible with DOCSIS® and all the legacy HFC back office functionality.
